About Us

We started this because
we knew it could be done better.

Better Quality Care was founded with one goal: to provide the kind of disability support we'd want for someone in our own family. Not a transaction. Not a roster slot filled. Genuine, consistent care from workers who actually know the person they're supporting.

Our founder spent years working inside the health sector since graduating with a Bachelor's of Sport & Exercise Science (Western Sydney University) over 7 years ago. Our entire team has been in the health sector long enough to see what good support looks like and and to see how often it falls short. Participants cycling through workers who don't know them. Families chasing phone calls. Agencies that treat care like a logistics problem. That experience made one thing clear: the sector needed providers who were willing to slow down, do the matching properly and stay accountable to the people they support, not just to a billing system.

Better Quality Care was built around that belief. We work exclusively with plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants; not because it's easier, but because it gives us the flexibility to operate the way we think care should work. No cutting corners to meet registered provider compliance volumes. Just a focused team, delivering "Better Quality Care", for the right reasons.

3

Dignity in every interaction

Every participant we work with is a person first. We hire workers who understand that and we don't keep ones who don't

2

Communication that actually works

You shouldn't have to chase us. We respond, we follow up, and we tell you if something isn't going to plan, before you have to ask.

1

Consistency Over Convenience

We don't send whoever is available. We take the time to match you with the right worker and then we keep them consistent. Familiar faces matter in this work.

Our Team

Our support workers and therapy assistants are hand-picked, not just hired. Every person who works with a participant under Better Quality Care has been personally vetted, interviewed and assessed for values, not just qualifications. We look for people who genuinely want to be in this work, because that difference shows up in every shift.

Every worker holds:

  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • A Working With Children Check where relevant

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009)

Your goals, not our schedule

Every support plan is built around what you want to achieve, not what's easiest to roster. Your NDIS plan exists for a reason, and we take it seriously.
