Our Services

Assistance with Daily Living

We provide personalised support with everyday tasks so you can live comfortably, safely, and independently in your own home.

Our team can assist with a wide range of daily activities, including personal care, showering, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, household tasks, and general routine support.

Whether you need occasional help or ongoing daily assistance, we tailor our services to suit your individual needs and lifestyle.

We take the time to understand your preferences, routines, and goals, ensuring support is delivered in a way that feels natural, respectful, and empowering.

Our focus is on promoting independence while providing the right level of support to make everyday life easier and more enjoyable.

Community Participation & Social Support

Staying connected to your community plays a key role in your wellbeing, confidence, and overall quality of life.

We support you to get out and participate in the activities you enjoy, whether that’s attending appointments, catching up with friends and family, exploring hobbies, joining local groups, or simply getting out of the house and staying active.

If you’re looking to try something new, we’re here to encourage and support you every step of the way.

Our approach is centred around building confidence, promoting independence, and creating positive, enjoyable experiences in social environments, at your pace and on your terms.

In-Home Support

Our in-home support services are designed to provide reliable, flexible assistance in the comfort of your own home.

We work around your schedule and needs, whether you require a few hours of support each week or more consistent daily care. Our support workers assist with maintaining your home, managing daily routines, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

We understand that consistency and trust are essential.

That’s why we focus on carefully matching you with the right support workersomeone who suits your personality, preferences, and goals.

This creates a more comfortable experience, stronger relationships, and better long-term outcomes.

Therapy Assistant Support

Our therapy assistants work closely with your allied health professionals to help you stay consistent with your therapy goals outside of clinical sessions.

Following guidance from your occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or speech pathologist, we assist with implementing therapy plans in your everyday environment.

This may include practicing exercises, developing skills, improving mobility and reinforcing strategies provided by your therapist.

Consistency is key to progress and that’s where we come in.

By supporting you between sessions, we help maximise the effectiveness of your therapy and ensure it translates into meaningful, real-life improvements.

The right person makes all the difference

When you come to us, we take the time to understand you properly before we match you with anyone. Your disability, your routines, your goals, your communication style, and your personality all factor into who we pair you with. And if the first match isn't perfect, we'll work with you until it is. You deserve support that feels natural, not support that feels like a service being delivered to you. That's the standard we hold ourselves to and it's the reason every person on our team is someone we'd trust to support someone in our own family.

Knowing exactly what you need from a support worker — and then finding the right person to deliver it — can feel like an overwhelming task. There's a lot to think about. Do they have the right experience? Will they understand your specific needs? Will they actually show up consistently, or will you be meeting someone new every other week? These are real concerns, and they matter.

At Better Quality Care, we believe that getting the match right from the start is the most important thing we do. Every support worker in our team has been carefully selected not just for their qualifications and skills, but for their character. We look for people who are patient, genuine, and committed — people who see this work as a vocation, not just a job.
